Where exactly Skale heading?

Can someone explain to me why Skale team writing everywhere that network growing as partnerships is more and more and these statistic showing the right opposite? I dont think thats is normal. There are development statistics/Active adress/Daily active adress/circulation tokens are more and more sending for sell etc… It’s look that is completely rugged and exited. Someone from Skale should answer.

And also why is completely Tokenomics treasury in Liechtenstein?
Where is burn mechanism?
Where is some massive adoption or big partnerships?

Hi to Czechia and thanks for your questions. As you for once do not offend our team , I’ll be happy to respond to your questions.
1.a) You are referring to the SKL token metrics and not network metrics. Those are trading metrics in your screenshot and are irrelevant to the network metrics. We are not allowed to talk about the token price (it’s also not needed as the token is tradable on an open market which is not in our control). More infos about the token can be found in our Whitepaper from 2020 and on skale.space (our website).
1.b) Network usage data can be found on our website (SKALE Portal - The Entry Point to the SKALE Blockchain) or on Dune → Important: SKALE on Base stats are not included in those (yet). You can also check out https://github.com/skalenetwork to see what SKALE engineers are currently building.
2. The foundation is based in Liechtenstein. Same as e.g. Ethereum Foundation, Solana Fdn, Tezos Fdn, web3 Fdn (Polkadot), Cardano Fdn, dfinity Fdn (ICP), Near Fdn and many more are based in Switzerland. All of us follow a similar set-up/structure.
3. Token burn is starting soon for SKALE on Base (hopefully this month). Burning got approved (governance vote) end of January only, but implementing a burn mechanism is not something which can be done easily within an existing network. Thus, it took some time developing it.
4. We’ve been announcing new partners a few times a week. Same as for every project, it might take time for a dApp/Agent to attract user/usage. As previously mentioned, just check out our stats (network stats and not token).
5. Generally speaking, being constantly negative about a project (e.g. on socials) and offending a team/team members doesn’t help anyone and definitely not a project. Being rude and offensive against the team or talking about the token price (positively, badly or neutrally) only gets you blocked.

Hope this helps and feel free to continue using this forum for constructive feedback and project related questions. An open and respectful discussion is always appreciated.

Best,
Fabio

Hey Fabio, Just quick note. I am surprised that someone answer to me for once and thanks for it. When I will have time I will look more into it, Rene

"Hey, I have a bit of time.

I just checked out Arkham (it’s terrible), and when I look at the SKALE portal, it’s the same story—every single metric is falling. Can someone explain this to me like I’m 5 y.o ? If companies are supposedly building on SKALE, shouldn’t everything be going up instead of down? The GitHub looks active, sure.

But if SKALE is building so HARD for the ‘future,’ why did the main IT engineer leave the project? (Sawyer) Where is the replacement? Why did Saunders leave last year without anyone saying a word? Are the rats leaving a sinking ship? Kladko has been inactive for a while, and Jack is too.

The price is an absolute massacre—down almost 99% from its ATH, hitting new all-time lows every day while tokens are being dumped at Formula 1 speed. How can I not be negative? Seriously. I’ve been with SKALE for 5 years, and I hasn’t seen a single huge partnership that could actually change the game. They just keep changing the narrative all the time. Web3 games on SKALE are dead; maybe 5% are still alive. I remember when the SKALE team told us gaming was the future ON SKALE. So, where is that future? Now they are telling us AI Agents are the future. Where is that going to end up?"

Hi Rene,

Out of courtesy I’d like you to read my response carefully again. I took time to provide a thorough feedback and I expect the same from someone having follow-up questions.

Anyhow, some clarifications (again):
1.b) answers your question regarding traction → “SKALE on Base stats are not included in those yet”
1.a) answers your last point about price action → “we are not allowed to talk about the token price…” → I’m aware that economics is not for everybody and I won’t blame anyone for not understanding how markets work. My personal view on acquiring any asset is that one should always do its own research and be aware of what could potentially happen to that asset. It’s like buying a car but not being aware that it needs e.g. fuel to run and that gas prices might go up/down.
Generally speaking, SKALE is an open source blockchain/infrastructure network. SKALE developers build what’s being asked for from the market and if you’ve followed web3 gaming you should be aware that they are currently having a hard time. On the other hand, AI is booming and will become/is a much bigger market. SKALE has always been positioned well for projects/apps in need of a high throughput solution and that won’t change.

Lastly, I’m not able to talk about SKALE Labs’ personell changes as I’m part of the foundation, but Sawyer has been part of SKALE as a core contributor for ~5 years, that’s much longer than most employees stay in a web3 company (or in web3 at all). As in every other company there are internal changes and SKALE continues to have a fantastic core engineering team. And for clarification - Sawyer was not the “main IT engineer”. Only because you see someone speaking/being more active on socials doesn’t mean that there is no one else in a company/in the background working hard.

ps: regarding the post you deleted; please think about how large token holders like the foundation are affected by a lower price (I hope you understand what I mean by saying that).
